OK, so this dress isn’t new. I’ve had it about a year. But I love the length. I’m only 5’2″ so finding a dress this style that doesn’t drag the ground is always a challenge. I’m also noticing how short the fronts of these high-low dresses are getting! Why is that a thing??!

So this dress is definitely perfect as far as length in the front and back. Definitely work-appropriate for the spring and summer. Oh that’s right.. I don’t work in the summer! :) Only a few weeks left and I’m free of my little rascals for a few months! I think I’m gonna make it.

I am loving this spring weather! After a rainy weekend, it was a perfect day to get off work and have HOURS of daylight left. And I was also excited to wear three new things at once! I’ve been waiting for a nice pretty day to wear my new floral blazer, and it went perfect with these new blue Cosmopolitan wedges from JCPenney and Target clutch. Now I’ve just got to work on this tan…

Sometimes I feel like Mardi Gras overshadows Valentine’s Day here in Louisiana, which is OK by me. I’m not really a huge Valentine’s Day fan other than the themed candy. And the movie. I mean, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Ashton Kutcher, and Taylor Lautner- how could you not like that, right? But now I’m distracted and totally forget where I was going with this. I think the point is, these outfits are Valentine-themed and great whether you’re a fan of the holiday or not. Hope you find something you like.
