an outfit post & free sunglasses

Monday, January 14th, 2013

A while back I was contacted by Firmoo, an Internet glasses company, about a product review. I don’t wear prescription glasses, so I was excited to see that they also offered regular sunglasses. They have a large selection and great customer service, and I had my glasses very quickly after I picked them out.

I chose this pair because I’d been wanting a nice pair of aviator-style glasses. They quickly became my favorite pair and I love the color. I get compliments all the time.

Firmoo has lots of frames to choose from with very reasonable prices, and your glasses even come in a nice case!

Now for the really good news! You can try a pair of glasses from Firmoo for FREE! You just pay the shipping. So head on over and pick you out a pair!

Outfit Planning

Sunday, January 13th, 2013

One of my new year’s resolutions for 2013 was to get organized. And to keep my room clean. So I thought what better way to do this than to seek out creative ideas from Pinterest?
Pinterest

I’ve had this corner rack pinned for a while. Actually, it was one of my first pins ever on Pinterest about a year and a half ago. I think this will really come in handy because waiting to plan my outfits at 6:30 a.m. each morning is a disaster. It wrecks my room and I’m always late for school. It never fails the day I waste time tearing my room apart putting together outfits, I also get stuck behind a school bus or the drive-thru line for coffee is ten miles long. So ONE way I plan to stay organized and clean (and on time) is to plan my outfits on the weekends. Check out my progress so far:

Trend: Polka Dot Denim

Tuesday, January 8th, 2013

I’ve seen a lot of fashion bloggers lately who make these polka dot jeans look great. I don’t have a pair for myself, but I am getting less hesitant about them. I think I’d go with the lighter wash in look 3… What do you think? Do you have polka dot denim? How would you style them?

Product Information: Ice Witch Sweater from Superette, $310; Polka Dot skinny jeans from Donna Ida, $90; Leather High Heels from Zara, $40; Satchel from Ebay; ‘Love’ Necklace from Filthy Magic, $15

Product Information: Sweater from ROMWE, $72; Navy Skinny Jeans from New Look, $33; Oxford flats from Heels.com, $50; Satchel from LeftOverStudio via Etsy, $99; Stud earrings from Accessorize, $16

It seems skinny jeans are the go to when pairing with a chunky sweater. I tried to branch out on the third look. I love the look of a cropped sweater with a high-waisted skirt and boots.
