I’m headed to Boston tomorrow-not the beach. But it’s only my second week of summer, so I’m still in the beach/poolside honeymoon phase until this 90 degree weather starts to bring me down. I’ll freeze in Boston I’m sure, and definitely don’t need a beach tote (unless I use that adorable Banago Malaya Tote from Voguette as a carry-on!) They were just too cute not to share.
This will be my first trip to Boston, so any recommendations on things to see/do/eat will be much appreciated!
p.s. Sorry for the Photoshop disaster with the Nine West tote. I did learn to always SAVE my work, so maybe in the future you’ll be able to see the FULL bag

Finally as promised- a spring trend post! I’ve had enough of this cold rainy weather, so warm spring days are on my mind. I’m in the mood for pastels, stripes and florals if you can’t tell. I love the idea of mixing floral denim pants with a stripe shirt like in the last look. And I adore the satchel from Warehouse and I’m anxiously awaiting its arrival to my doorstep!
Speaking of doorstep deliveries… my new Nikon came in the mail yesterday! I can’t wait to use it for upcoming outfit posts. So if you have dslr tips, tip away!

I know a few weeks ago I wrote a post about outfit planning, but I threw this together one morning in a rush due to the unpredictable Louisiana weather. I had never paired this coral color with brown before, but I think I like it. The brown tones definitely needed some color and the bright cardigan and pop of green in the necklace did the trick.

I hope you’ll take a minute to check out the new faces in the sidebar. Grace Adele’s new spring line is out, and I’ve already picked out this new purple Shay clutch with the stripe (below). I think it will really come in handy when tailgating comes back around. I also have an outfit post coming up with the Lou clutch in leopard!

It seems skinny jeans are the go to when pairing with a chunky sweater. I tried to branch out on the third look. I love the look of a cropped sweater with a high-waisted skirt and boots.

I’ve recently been drawn to clutches. It’s becoming an addiction really. I need them in all shapes, sizes, and colors. I’ve grown particularly fond of the envelope clutch lately. The ones above are all great (and I want them all in my closet) because they all cost less than $35. Which is your favorite? If I just HAD to choose, I’d go with No. 5.
