NOLA Fashion week is coming!! I was so excited this week to get to talk to two Baton Rouge-based designers who will be participating in NOLA Fashion Week. I cannot wait to see Ella Rose and Nikki Manuel from American Prep in action next Tuesday night. Stay tuned!!

Open Back Dress Trend

The thing I love about this trend is the variety. All five of these dresses have open backs but all are different. It’s really up to you if you want a lot of skin showing or just a little. Or at the top or the bottom. I think my favorite is the ASOS wrap dress (No. 4) with just a teeny tiny part of the back showing. Plus, one way to stay cool this summer is to just not have a back to your dress at all. Problem solved!

Now for the BIG announcement! On Tuesday I accepted a new teaching position in Baton Rouge, so it looks like I’m headed South again! I’ll be teaching 7th grade English at the most amazing school, and I could not be more excited to move back to BR where my little blog first began. But be prepared for future tweets/posts/Instagrams of stressed out Leslie making yet another move…
