Sunday Funday with 9th and Elm

When 9th and Elm asked me to browse their flash sale site of ‘Handmade, Independent, or Otherwise Cool’ things, I knew I had to have this “Sunday Funday” tank. Mostly because Sunday Funday is always my favorite day of the week to celebrate whether it’s spent all day brunching or now watching football-either way I have this cool tank to wear and be festive! And once the weather cools down, I plan to wear it with a cardigan or denim jacket to get plenty of use out of it throughout the fall.

Southern Flair Personal Shopper on Pinterest

Not only has Pinterest become my go-to for recipes, home decor ideas, and fashion inspiration, it has become one of my favorite places to find unique items that I wouldn’t find on my “normal” online shopping sites. It’s a great way to find out about new boutiques, brands and companies, and I’m always discovering new places to shop online.

So, last week I started the Southern Flair Personal Shopper board where I’ll post my favorite finds from my own online shopping to hopefully help you guys discover some new favorites too! This will be an extension of my ‘Shop With Me’ page (on the menu at the top) with both having their own unique items as well.

Isn’t this the cutest little backyard? Absolutely no idea who it belongs to. Katie Hope is going to get me arrested for trespassing during our photoshoot adventures one day… I just know it. We were looking for the perfect little southern setting to match my Collard Queens Chic Boutique floral skirt. It just so happens we found one and invited ourselves right on in. I did, however, draw the line at getting on their porch.

With Collard Queens’ southern vibe, I knew I had the perfect tank to style with it to complete the look. Baton Rouge blogger buddy Krystal of A Pinch of Lovely sold these “Bless Your Heart” tanks last year in her Etsy shop. It’s still one of my favorite tanks and I always get compliments anytime I wear it. Plus, “bless your heart” does tend to come out of my mouth a lot… especially when my seventh graders complain about all their work I give them!

Shop Ruche’s Bourbon Street Collection

Today I wanted to share Ruche’s Bourbon Street collection with you. This spring collection was inspired by New Orlean’s jazz and blues and perfect timing for the Jazz Fest activities the past couple of weekends. I chose my favorite dresses and blouses to share with you, but the collection includes necklaces, earrings, shoes and much more! My absolute favorite piece is this yellow maxi dress with floral embroidery detail and scalloped hem-absolutely gorgeous!

Join the Ettika Twitter and Arm Party!

A few months ago I was introduced to this Los Angeles-based arm candy brand and have since fallen in love with the free-spirited, California beach vibe these stacks give off. Ettika has everything from cuff and chain bracelets to leather and braided bracelets plus everything in between. They even have something for guys!
