Nautical Favorites with L. Mae Boutique

Friday, June 27th, 2014

Ahoy! (OK, too cheesy?) The nautical trend is always a summer favorite of mine-especially around the Fourth of July. L.Mae Boutique is a Southern boutique I recently discovered and they’ve got lots of red, white, and blue sailor-themed items to choose from at really great prices. I’m seriously in love with that “Hello Sailor” sweater and it’s under $50! You can’t see the back, but it’s just as cute with the anchor detail. You can shop all nautical and Fourth of July favorites here.

I’m headed to Europe tomorrow, so I won’t be here for my favorite patriotic holiday. I’ll be traveling through Prague, Munich, Salzburg, and Amsterdam. This will be my first time in all these countries, so any recommendations will be greatly appreciated!

During my trip I won’t be posting much. However, I do have a special Fourth of July post scheduled with Hey, Penelope and another giveaway that you won’t want to miss! Check back Monday for that!

I’ll be back soon! Keep up with SF on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest!

Outfit: Red, white, & blue

Top: Forever 21 (similar) | Polka Dot Jeans: Belk (similar) | Shoes: Target | Necklace: JCrew (and half off!) | Sunglasses: Betsey Johnson

So I finally have my Fourth of July outfit picked out, but still no clue what I’m actually doing for the holiday. What’s everyone else doing? Have your outfit picked out? This is as close to an American flag as I could get.

I picked up this JCrew necklace on the way home from the beach this weekend. I’ve been wanting a gold chunky chain necklace and finally found the perfect one-and at half off! Go snag that baby right now!

Hope you have a safe & happy Fourth of July! Be sure to keep up with SF on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest!

Happy Sunday, y’all! I’m headed back from the beach today. It was such a good girls’ weekend-despite not being able to get in the water yesterday thanks to humongous sharks and jellyfish. And I’m not exaggerating. There were sharks. Real ones. Real close. Not ok.

But now that the beach trip is over, it’s time to start thinking about Fourth of July. Today, I’ve got two outfit options for you. One casual and one a little dressier depending on what your plans are. I really love all the pieces-holiday or not.

Product Information: Dress: Dorothy Perkins | Wedges: Zappos | Earrings: Betsey Johnson | Satchel: DSW | Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs

Product Information: Hat: BCBG | Billabong Flag Tank: Sundance Beach | Across Body Bag: ASOS | Crochet Shorts: House of Fraser | Sandals: Topshop

Which is your favorite look? Keep up with SF on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest!

I can’t believe it’s already time to start planning for the Fourth of July! I, personally, have no idea what I’ll be doing on the 4th. Hopefully something involving a pool, food, and fireworks.

But hey, what are you doing tomorrow? If you’re in the New Orleans area, you should stop by Culture Shock’s first pop-up shop! (Remember Culture Shock from here?) Learn about different cultures while enjoying diverse fashions, ethnic music, and free mimosas! The pop-up shop will be at The Fly from 10-2! See more info on Culture Shock’s Facebook Page.

Have a great Friday and keep up with SF on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram & Pinterest!
