What’s better than Louisiana strawberry season? Strawberry BEER season! I’m a fruity beer girl anyway, especially the strawberry kind like Abita Strawberry and Strawberry Canebrake. So now, with the spring weather and my new hammock in my backyard, I’m ALL about some refreshing cocktails and some slower living these days. So today, I combined my favorite Strawberry Beer with fresh lemonade for an easy shandy that’s refreshing and light, but still includes a little booze! The ingredients are pretty minimal — it could be made with simply lemonade and a strawberry beer of your choice, so just two ingredients. But I liked to amp mine up a bit with fresh Louisiana strawberries and a lemon.
Easy Strawberry Beer Lemonade
Ingredients:
- Your Favorite Strawberry Beer (I used Abita)
- Lemonade (make your own here or buy)
- Fresh Strawberries
- 1-2 Lemons
Directions:
I mixed my beer and lemonade half and half in a mason jar. I added fresh strawberries and squeezed extra lemon juice in while adding a slice of lemon as well.
