From boozie brunches to being outdoors, these are the 13 best places to Sunday Funday in Baton Rouge!
1- The Overpass Merchant
Only the BEST chicken biscuit in town. Trust me, it’s worth planning your Sunday around.
They’ve also got $5 Bloody Mary’s and $2 Mimosas.
They have a Vietnamese Irish coffee that’s killer too!
TIME: 11AM-4PM
2- The Crown Bistro
Where you can brunch AND shop at the same time!
It’s connected to The Royal Standard and includes a brand new outdoor patio area.
TIME: 10AM - 2PM
3- Mason’s Grill
A classic Baton Rouge brunch spot that will never go out of style.
And those Bloody Mary’s rank at the top of my list!
(Fun Fact: I didn’t even know I liked Bloody Mary’s until I tried one at Mason’s a few years back, so I give them FULL credit for my obsession!)
TIME: 9AM - 3PM
4- Olive Or Twist
Their brunch menu includes dishes like crawfish beignets, boudin crepes, and chicken and waffles.
PLUS add $10 bottomless mimosas on top of THAT!
Oh, and build-your-own Bloody Mary’s.
You can spend ALL day here because when brunch ends, it’s Happy Hour ALL DAY LONG with their extensive cocktail list.

5- The Bulldog
It’s a big space with plenty of seating for large groups who want to Sunday Funday. But it’s also perfect for small groups, or if you want to enjoy their patio solo or with your pup.
TIME: 11:30AM - 11:45PM
6- Superior Grill
Margaritas, frozen mimosas, and a Superior Bloody Mary is what I consider a Sunday Funday trifecta.
Plus, they’ve got all your Mexican brunch favorites — and a patio!

7- Kona Grill
I LOVE Kona Grill on a Sunday because it’s HAPPY HOUR ALL DAY!
If you sit at the bar or out on the patio, you can order sushi, drinks, small plates and more from the Happy Hour menu. If you sit in the regular restaurant, you gotta pay full price.
But it’s all freaking delicious!
TIME: 11AM - 10PM
8- The Radio Bar
This Mid-City neighborhood bar is fun any day of the week, but they have a monthly event called Free Food Sunday where they give away FREE food starting at 3PM. You can follow them on Facebook to know when they’re scheduled.
Plus, you can always enjoy a good craft beer or cocktail here. And their patio is worth mentioning too!
TIME: 4PM - 12AM
9 - Tin Roof Brewing Co
This Baton Rouge brewery is another fun spot that you can hang out all day and bring your pup!
Craft beer, corn hole, and indoor & outdoor seating.
Check their schedule too because they’re always hosting events or having live music, food trucks and more.
TIME: 12PM - 8PM
10- Curbside Burgers
Burgers, beers and boozie shakes make this Mid-city restaurant another Sunday Funday spot.
Plus, they’ve been known to collaborate with local donut shop Tiger Deaux-nuts for a donut-chicken buscuit-gravy situation that’s REALLY good.
TIME: 11AM - 9PM
11- Barcadia
If you’re looking for a fun atmosphere, Barcadia has arcade games, giant jenga and Connect 4 on the patio, plus indoor & outdoor seating.
During brunch, they serve $10 bottomless mimosas and peach bellinis and $3 Bloody Mary’s!
Plus, they’re serving up breakfast burritos, French toast, and pancakes.

12- Walk-Ons Bistreaux & Bar
