I’m on a roll this football season with easy DIYS! (Check out my DIY emoji shirt and my DIY “Geaux” floppy hat!) I wanted to add another one with this easy LSU-Inspired DIY “Cooler Than Bama” Ice Chest — perfect for tailgating! LSU likes to take jabs at Alabama any way possible, so why not makeover our coolers with a little school spirit? All you need is a purple cooler and some glitter stickers!
When they just don’t make LSU game day ice chests like you want them, you make your own! This DIY was as easy as sticking glitter letters on a purple ice chest! I did have to take my hot glue gun to a few of the letters to make sure they stuck really well.
The hardest part of this DIY was finding a purple cooler! Who knew purple would be such a difficult color to find? I purchased this 28-quart ice chest from Wal-Mart. I liked that it had the cup holders in the lid, which made it even better for tailgating.
This LSU-Inspired DIY “Cooler Than Bama” Ice Chest will definitely be making it onto campus this weekend!
