After the downpour that happened at Fall Fashion Fest this year, I’m excited to announce that September’s Boutique Blowout Sale will be INSIDE — out of the heat and rain!
The Baton Rouge Fashion Council is hosting the event on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza (4728 Constitution Ave).
This event is free and open to the public — all ages welcome!
As local boutiques make way for new fall/winter merchandise, you’ll get deeply discounted prices on end-of-season clothing, accessories and shoes!
We will have special VIP shopping from 9 - 10 a.m. where guests will get first dibs on the sales. Plus, they’ll receive a swag bag filled with goodies from local boutiques and businesses including Crave Macaroons, DIG magazine, Body Sculpt Barre and more!
VIP tickets are sold out, but we are giving away two free tickets now on Instagram (@brfashioncouncil)! So you still have a chance to come if you didn’t get a chance to snag the few VIP tickets we sold!

What exactly is a Boutique Blowout Sale?
A Blowout Sale is when many boutiques get together to sell all their discounted merchandise under one roof for one day only. This is your chance to snag end-of-season merchandise at steep discounts.
Do I have to have a ticket?
Nope! Entrance into the event is FREE from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. No ticket is necessary.
How do I purchase a VIP ticket?
We’re all sold out of VIP tickets, but you can show up as early as 10 a.m. to shop WITHOUT a VIP ticket. VIP shopping is for ticket holders only from 9 - 10 a.m. Everyone can shop beginning at 10 a.m.
What does VIP access get me?
VIP shoppers get first access to the sales from 9 - 10 a.m. with a more private shopping experience. Only 50 VIP tickets were sold, so you won’t have to fight the crowds! Plus, you’ll get a swag bag with goodies from local business and boutiques!
What boutiques are participating?
Let’s just say you’ll see several familiar faces, including Court & Layne, Hemline, Imagine and Sosis. Plus, you’ll see some new boutiques and hopefully discover a few new local favorites! We’ll have 20 boutiques total — all from the Baton Rouge area.
Can I try on clothes?
Yes, there will be dressing rooms available at the event.
Can I pay with a credit card?
Yep, the boutiques will accept credit/debit cards and cash.
Are kids allowed? Can I bring a stroller?
Absolutely! We love your kids. Strollers are also allowed.
What will you be doing during the event?
Ok, so no one actually asked me this. But…. I’ll be hanging out at the BRFC booth for the duration of the event! Stop by and say hello & let’s be friends! I’ll also be giving away 10 FREE blowouts from Drybar Baton Rouge!
