Lately, one of my favorite ways to wear a dress for cooler weather is to pair a sweater or cozy top over it. This is also a great way to still get some use out of my summer dresses during the fall and winter! I loved the colorblock stripe pattern on this Bar III dress. It’s fitted top and A-line shape make it perfect for appearing like a skirt and making it a truly versatile piece! Plus, this color combo and accessories make this outfit definitely something I would wear to holiday parties.

Ohhh I’m so glad you posted this! I’ve been wanting to wear one of my chunkier sweaters with a pencil skirt that I have, but I was a bit nervous! You look great, so I’ll definitely try it!
This is such a good idea, I’ll have to try this so that I can get a few more wears out of some of my summer dresses!
