I think this is officially my favorite outfit post to date! And it’s even better simply because I’m sportin’ local Baton Rouge designer Annie Etzel. Y’all… this crop top and its sleeves are to die for. I mean, how can you not have fun wearing this top?
Annie Etzel is an apparel design student at LSU who made her NOLA Fashion Week debut this past season under her mentor Ella Rose (you know Ella… she’s been all over SF). I first worked with Annie for the Amelie G Street Style shoot last month and couldn’t not steal this top for myself.
A crop top is great to pair with high-waisted elastic pants like these. Other types of tops tend to make my pants look like pjs (I know because my students always ask if I’m still in my pajamas when I wear these). They are quite comfy, so a pair of pumps and jewelry are another easy way to dress them up a bit.
