Would you wear skirt leggings?

Product Information: (left to right) Virasana Skirt Pant from Sweaty Betty, $95; Skirt Leggings from The Urban Apparel, $33; POOF Fold Over Leggings from Tilly’s, $15

There are skirts. And there are leggings. And now the two have joined forces to give us “skirt leggings.” It seems simple enough — a skirt with built in leggings — but is it necessary? I’ll let you decide. Personally, I get by just fine pairing my leggings with skirts — separately. Or maybe I’m missing just how convenient the skirt leggings really are. Guess I’ll never know until I try. What about you? Have you seen these before? OR better yet.. do you own a pair?? (And no, owning them as a toddler doesn’t count ).

  1. I don’t have any issues with these ‘skirt leggings’ but in a sense they are a little impractical. The majority of people will already own a pair of leggings along with a simple black skirt. You can pair them up if you feel it’s really necessary and voila! You got ‘skirt leggings.’

To be honest I’m definitely not a fan of leggings + a skirt, I would rather where tights/stockings with a skirt (plus your feet will be warm!).

  2. Hmm… at first I liked them, but now I don’t know… I think I would have to try them on, but it just seems so tight and… constricting.

  3. I would not wear them. Never. Ever.
I just really hate them, they’re so.. preschool?

  4. These are definitely interesting. I mean its convenient that it’s a skirt and leggings but you cant really mix and match. So wouldn’t it be a loss of money? When you can get much more for the same price? I guess it all depends on your own preferences?
