We’re in the middle of festival season here in Louisiana! We recently had Blues Fest and French Quarter Fest and Jazz Fest (round 1) and Festival International last weekend — and many more still to come! Making it to ALL the festivals would be nearly impossible (seriously, there are hundreds), so I’ve made a Louisiana festivals playlist to bring the festival to you wherever you are — sitting at work, driving in the car or doing whatever! We have SO many genres of music in Louisiana on a normal day and even more to hear during festival season, so the playlist covers a little bit of it all! So what’s your favorite type of music to listen to at festivals? Do you prefer lounging around in the grass listening to zydeco and blues? Or do you prefer the crazy crowds dancing around to today’s biggest artists?

Whichever you prefer, the playlist (and this tee!) includes a little bit of everything. I’ve got the local blues and brass bands all the way to huge artists like Usher and Maroon 5 who are playing at Jazz Fest this year.

The playlist mostly combines artists who’ve played at The Baton Rouge Blues Festival, French Quarter Fest, Jazz Fest, Festival International and even Bayou Country Superfest. I tried to get music from ALL ends of the spectrum!

Seriously, we cover A LOT of music genres in Louisiana — especially during festival season!
