More on adding color to your winter look

Patterned spring kimono with black bucket bag and black ankle boots

If you saw Monday’s post, then you know I’m all about adding some springtime color into my winter wardrobe. That’s exactly why I was drawn to this printed lace trim kimono from Target the other day- must be the part of me that’s itchin’ for spring with these 70 degree temps! I liked its turquoise and coral patterns (it comes in navy, cream, and coral too!) and I knew it would be perfect to layer over darker winter items as an easy way to brighten them up a bit.

Another favorite part of this outfit is my new Trask ‘Lexie’ Boots. I’m kind of a hoarder when it comes to black boots, but these are so different from anything else in my closet with their combo of leather and suede and the rustic look. Trask is a footwear company born in Bozeman, MT and everything is inspired by the American outdoors. While I don’t think I’ll be climbing any mountains in my new boots anytime soon, I like knowing I can! Plus, these boots are on sale right now too!
