Happy Monday, y’all! Baton Rouge Fashion Week is quickly approaching! As you may remember, last year I was a judge in the OneofaKind Baton Rouge Fashion Week model search. Well, they’ve asked me to get my Tyra Banks on again this year, so I will be part of selecting the models for the shows again!

The Model Search will be Jan. 30th and 31st at the Capitol Park Museum, so you’ve still got a few weeks to practice your model walk :)

OBR Fashion Week is set for Feb. 23, concluding with the Big Night on Feb. 28. You can follow me on Twitter for updates and reminders on dates and ticket sales. I’ll be sure to keep you in the loop leading up to fashion week!

If you or anyone you know is interested in auditioning for the model search, you can download an application from the OBRFW’s website. You can also sign up the day of the casting calls.

Models of all sizes and ages are encouraged to participate! Models are to wear jeans and a fitted, plain white t-shirt or tank. Females are to bring heels and make up should be at a minimum.

Casting times are 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Jan. 30 and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 31.

OBRFW 2014 Model of the Year award winner Faith Laureles (that’s her in the pretty photos above!) will join myself, Diana Cordero of Foster the Fashion, and Elle Marie of The Rouge Collection in choosing models for the fashion events.
