This week my boyfriend and I booked our summer vacation to South Florida! While he’s originally from Florida, I’ll be in full-on tourist mode since the furthest down I’ve ever gotten is Orlando.

I’m excited to explore new parts of Florida and to spend a few relaxing days at the beach! We decided to only bring carryons for the flight, so I’ll be packing light with mostly swimsuits and comfortable sundresses.

Outfit Information:

1- Woven Ruffia Boater Hat from Nordstrom - I can’t go to a beach town without a hat! I’ll need it for shade and to keep cool. Plus a boater hat is smaller than floppy hat, so it will pack easier in a carryon. Shop this one for $25 here.

3- Sole Society Faux Leather Backpack from Nordstrom - Trendy backpacks were just made for being a tourist! I chose a backpack over a smaller cross body to carry my camera, sunscreen, wallet and other necessities I’ll need when out and about. This one costs less than $55 and also comes in brown. 4- Palm Print Slip Dress from Topshop - Could this print be anymore perfect for a beach trip? (it also comes in a shirt dress!) It will definitely be festive and comfortable, plus I think i will transition easily from day to night. Shop it here.

5- Lace Up Sandal from Nordstrom - I always go for comfort when searching for summer sandals, and these lace up open-toe sandals look both comfortable and cute. So it’s a win win! They also come in tan and only cost $35. Shop them here.
