Boutique Tour: Jaded Bliss Boutique

The next stop on the Baton Rouge Boutique Tour isn’t really a stop at all, so it’s perfect for all you out-of-towners! Jaded Bliss is a local online boutique run by Lacy Kosienski — a stay-at-home mom who has the best taste when picking out the latest trends and styles to add to her shop.

Jaded Bliss Boutique has participated at several of our Baton Rouge Fashion Council events and I’ve always loved her funny graphic tees, bright prints and patterns, and her jewelry selection. Today, I’ve sat down with Lacy to get the scoop on running her own online boutique right from her home.

How did Jaded Bliss get its start?

Lacy: I have always dreamed of owning my own clothing boutique and when I was pregnant with my son Roman about three years ago I decided I wanted to do an online boutique and that’s when it all started.

Where did the name ‘Jaded Bliss’ come from?

Lacy: It’s silly, but I always said if I had a little girl I would name her Jade Bliss, so that’s pretty much where the name came from.

What’s a normal work day look like for you?

Lacy: I am a stay-at-home mommy and get to run my boutique from home! It’s really nice to be able to be home with my son and spend time with him and work in my spare time. I try to get most of my work done while he’s napping, which includes taking pictures of new clothes that I get in, packing up orders, and looking for new clothes to buy for my boutique!

Describe Jaded Bliss’s style in five words or less.

Lacy: Chic, edgy and fun!

What’s the best way for customers to shop with you?

Lacy: The best way to shop Jaded Bliss is to go to our website or Instagram (@Jadedblissboutique).

What’s your favorite summer trend that we can find with Jaded Bliss?

Lacy: All of the bright colors!

What has been the most challenging part of running your own boutique?

Lacy: Keeping my website up-to-date.

What’s your favorite part of running a boutique?

Lacy: I get to pick out the latest fashion trends for my boutique, keep some for myself of course, and try to keep my prices low so that everyone can afford them! I love seeing my customers wearing their Jaded Bliss!
