In Louisiana the party never really stops. Now that winter is ending, we’re looking forward to festival season! We really have a festival for everything! Crawfish, strawberries, pecans, bluegrass, zydeco — you name it, we celebrate it!
While many of our festivals revolve around food, many also revolve around music. We have Bayou Country Superfest in Tiger Stadium, Jazz Fest in New Orleans, Festival International in Lafayette, and so many more.
I always use festivals as an excuse to play with my outfits a bit more. Festivals are the perfect time to incorporate bohemian styles into your look even if that’s not your “normal” style. For me, festivals are really just a time to play dress up.
Many of our festivals are held during the spring and summer months, so it can get pretty hot. Sticking to loose fitting or flowy tops and dresses is a must. So one way to really incorporate boho trends into your look is through jewelry and accessorizing. Today, I’ve teamed up with Uncommon Goods to pick my favorite boho-chic pieces to complete your spring festival look!
