This week I launched the Grow Your Local Business podcast! This podcast is for local business owners who want to reach more people who live in their city and bring in a steady stream of clients.
I know most of my Southern Flair readers are not business owners, but everyone has a friend who is, so I would really appreciate it if you could pass this along to someone who would find it valuable!
I’ve had my blog for almost 13 years now. While the blog is still going strong and bigger than ever, it has also been the foundation to help me grow a marketing and coaching business over on Leslie Presnall - The Localpreneur.
As I grew a local audience, created content people loved and sold things online, I learned a lot through trial and error. Now I get to share everything with my clients step-by-step inside The Localpreneur Bootcamp — and in the new podcast!
It’s available now on Apple, Spotify and Amazon Music. You can also listen in your web browser.
What’s the podcast about?
We’ll cover ALL things marketing, selling and growing your local business online and offline.
Marketing is hard enough on its own… and marketing locally has its own unique challenges that I’ll cover episode by episode.
I have a “comprehensive” approach when it comes to marketing (I don’t like to put all my eggs in one basket as they say). So we’ll cover it all.
As local business owners, we get to use online marketing and traditional marketing, plus paid and organic. Really… we can do anything to meet more people in our city, and I’m here for it all!
What are some of the things you’ll talk about?
I’ll talk about reaching your local people on social media, standing out and getting noticed, turning followers into clients, creating content, marketing trends, getting engagement, staying consistent, goal setting, productivity and, of course, managing your mind in your marketing (because helloooo doubt, fear and imposter syndrome).
Who is the podcast for?
Business owners who want to reach people who live in their city.
I work specifically with service-based business owners — like photographers, make-up artists, hair stylists, interior designers, personal trainers, massage therapists, physicians, estheticians, home organizers, coaches, wedding planners, florists, bakers, realtors — anyone who works face-to-face with their clients!
When do new episodes air?
New episodes will be available every Tuesday morning at 4AM CT
