Tis The Season for Christmas Tree Crawls!

You’ve heard of Wall Crawls where you explore all the colorful painted walls that a city has to offer? Well, today we’re putting a holiday spin on that idea and going on a Christmas Tree Crawl! As you know, I love any excuse to enjoy Christmas decorations and take in all the festive things around town and the state (see my Holiday Travel Guide to New Orleans). So taking myself on a festive Christmas tree tour around Baton Rouge seemed like just the thing to do this year! I think it would be so much fun to go around town with friends for fun holiday photos or for family Christmas cards! Maybe bring along some props and presents — so fun!

First Stop: Downtown Baton Rouge

The first stop on the Baton Rouge Christmas Tree Crawl is at the 35-foot tree in Galvez Plaza in Downtown near the Old State Capitol.

Next Stop: Mall of Louisiana

The second stop on the Christmas Tree Crawl is the Mall of Louisiana. You can find the giant tree outside near Bar Louie and Red Robbin!

Third Stop: LSU

The third stop on the list is LSU’s Christmas Tree! Don’t expect to find it in front of the clock tower this year. Instead, head closer to the Student Union and you’ll find a regular tree that’s been decorated by giant purple and gold Christmas ornaments and ribbon.

Last Stop: Perkins Rowe

The final stop on the Baton Rouge Christmas Tree Crawl is Perkin’s Rowe! You can find it near Anthropologie and J.Crew. And if you’re looking for something else festive to do this weekend, Santa Rocks the Rowe is happening this Saturday. Concert band, carolers, carriage rides and Santa!
