I think this is a first for Southern Flair — I can’t recall a time I’ve ever talked about the color orange here in 8 years! And if you would have asked me to grab something orange out of my closet 6 months ago, that’d be impossible. But shades of orange are creepin’ their way into my closet this fall and I’m not mad about it. So today, I’m sharing my must-have shades of orange this fall!

Once I started looking into it, I realized there were SO many shades of orange — rust, clay/terracotta, pumpkin, burnt orange, tangerine — and even gold.

Even Russet Orange was listed among Pantone’s Fall/Winter 2018 Top Colors.

I prefer the deeper shades of orange and burnt / rust shades compared to the bright tangerine orange — especially for fall. Here are some of my top picks below:
