I’m headed down to Baton Rouge today for my first LSU game of the season — definitely one of the downsides to graduating. Nonetheless, I’m totally pumped and ready to see friends, campus, and of course, Death Valley. There’s no place like home.

Before I go, I wanted to post some of the LSU-inspired tailgating outfits I came up with. Down South it’s still pretty hot.. like… 90 degrees hot. So tailgaters at LSU probably won’t need to grab a jacket or sweater until the end of October. And they’ll be walking a lot, so heels are out too.

The best thing to do is wear something comfy and school-spirited. Check out the outfits I’ve created below:

Product Information: Flutter One Shoulder Dress from Metropark, $51; Wild Diva Strappy Sandal from Endless, $20; Lurex Floppy Hat from Monsoon, $32; Betsey Johnson Sunglasses from Endless, $65; Nude Double Wrap Skinny Belt from Miss Selfridge, $19
Product Information: LSU Cardigan from Victoria’s Secret, $50; Boyfriend Racer Tank from American Eagle, $16; Denim Shorts from American Eagle, $30; Boots from Forever 21, $12; Football necklace from Amazon, $39
Product Information: Slashed Dress from ShopNastyGal, $114; Cardigan from Old Navy, $13; Sheer Net Tights from The Outnet, $38; Grey Zip Knee Boots from Dorothy Perkins, $76; Tiger Pendant Necklace from Wet Seal, $20
Product Information: Tiger Print T-Shirt from Juicy Couture, $42; Bandage Mini Skirt from Arden B., $39; Black Suede Cuff Knee-High Boots from AmiClubWear, $37; Scarf from Old Navy, $13
Product Information: Cardigan from Old Navy, $20; Vintage Leigh Skinny Jeans from Topshop, $70; Three Button Boots from Tillys, $40; Washed Cross Body Bag from Rue 21, $25; Herringbone Cable Hat from House of Fraser, $50

Tell me… Do you have any tailgating outfit tips? What do you like to wear to football games? Have a great weekend! And Geaux Tigers!

  2. That LSU cardigan is so cute! I go to the Univ. of Pittsburgh and our PINK stuff is horrible! I wish they made something like that for us. :(

And I really like that leopard dress… just might have to add that onto my wishlist!

    1. Sorry to hear that! I never really look at other school’s PINK stuff… LSU does have some pretty great PINK things though!
