Cropped tees and tanks prove yet again that the ’90s have returned. Remember Kelly Kapowski? She definitely rocked a crop top or two in her Saved By the Bell days. Crop tops are great for layering or paired with high-waisted trousers. Or if you’re not afraid of showing a little skin, then I say go for it!

Look No. 1: In this look I layered a cropped tee over a yellow tank for a more casual, warm day outfit. A tee over a tank is simplistic, but don’t be afraid to combine different patterns for a bolder look. Crop tops can also work great as a swimsuit cover up for a day at the lake.

Look No. 2: In this look I paired a sequin cropped tee over a LBD with a pair of pumps and a clutch to dress it up. This is my favorite look because it’s an easy way to spice up a simple dress. Your little black dress will look completely different and new each time you wear it.

Don’t want to buy a crop top? Take an old T-shirt or graphic tee, and make your own. Cut the bottom half of the shirt (either right at your belly button or above it.. you pick), and then cut the neckline out for an off-the-shoulder top. It’s easy.. and free!
What do you think? Would you wear a crop top or are they better left in the ’90s? How do you wear your crop tops? Tell me in your comments!

Interesting! I personally wouldn’t wear a crop top with a bare tummy underneath, just because I don’t feel all that comfortable showing that part of my body purposely, but I can understand why there are some people that would. I loved the outfit with the LBD, though. That’s something I would definitely wear. So cute. Thanks for sharing!
Nice ideas … Some things there are I’ve never join… Tnx…
